The Color of Money

I used to hang out at pool halls or billiards a lot for various reasons. I played a little bit but I was never into it like many others in my social circle. 

I love seeing pool tournament players of all ages and genders in Las Vegas. It's definitely one of my favorite times in Vegas besides WSOP and Rodeo. And the fact that this tournament is held at one of my favorite casinos, Westgate, makes it even better. 

By accident & coincidence, I stumbled on to an event with the black widow who I used to watch on TV. Listening to her story was incredible and motivating to say the least. Then I got to drive a woman who was going to practice before competing in a tournament 6 in the morning while her teammates were sleeping in. When I found out the winner prize was 50K, I couldn't understand her teammates sleeping in. If I was in that team and we lost 50K, I would've beat the shit out of my teammates with a poolstick.
